I was coming home from seeing Brian Posehn tonight. I was in the left lane on I71/75 south behind a Hyundai with one working taillight that couldn’t maintain a steady speed or stay centered in the lane. There were plenty of opportunities for the driver to move over to let me by but the driver didn’t for about 7 minutes. When the car finally moved over I looked over and saw some boy driving it. We made eye contact and out popped his left middle finger at me. My reaction was as follows:

I had a stereotypical P71 experience last week. I was in the left lane on 95, because it was moving the fastest, and a P71 came up behind me and repeatedly flashed its headlights at me. I couldn’t speed up, because there was traffic ahead of me, and I couldn’t get over because there was traffic there too. It flashed its headlights at me a few more times before finally speeding up and going ONTO THE SHOULDER to pass me and the train of cars ahead of me. Had the stereotypes about Virginia been true, I would have seen it pulled over at some point, but alas, it’s not actually as bad here as the former EIC of the FP liked to make it out to be be.

Also I flipped off a tailgater the other day. If you’re right on my bumper and we’re going 75 in a 60 in traffic , you’re the asshole, not me.

People who pass on the shoulder are insane. There could be stalled vehicle a few hundred yards ahead, it’s typically littered with broken glass from previous accidents, and most are barely wide enough to fit the width of your average fat boi car.

Came up on a guy today camped in the left lane of an empty 6 lane interstate doing 70 in a TLX . Went to pass him on the right and then he decides to speed up.

TLX can not keep up with a TTV8 Merc. Not even close. I hit 102 without my wife even noticing...
